Buck Creek Alloy Cattle
Buck Creeks "alloy" cattle are Angus / Galloway cross cows with Shorthorn bulls bred to them to give us a beautiful early maturing smaller calf for finishing to beef. Why does that matter ...well the early maturing means that the calves will be ready to finish and slaughter at an earlier age while the smaller body/frame size allows them to be more efficient on grass and therefore truly "finish" on grass. All this together equals marbled & great tasting meat without a over fat calf.
